Amway Global - How Many Millionaires Has Amway Created?

I don't know how many millionaires Amway has created. I honestly don't think Amway knows either, except for the owners of Amway who are reported as billionaires. But still there is a myth that Amway has created the most millionaires in the US, save for Microsoft corporation. To be perfectly honest, I am fairly sure that there are some millionaires who can attribute their wealth accumulation to the Amway business. But I suspect that there are far fewer millionaires created by the Amway opporunity in North America than your upline would have you believe.

I googled WikiAnswers to see how many people in the US are millionaires. The answer was 1 out of every 125 Americans are millionaires. It did not specify how much income these folks had, nor did it say what kinds of businesses or occupations were likely to make you a millionaire.

But then again, we can make some comparisons of how many millionaires versus various pin levels. 1 out of about 240 IBOs reach the platinum level where depending on your structure, you might earn $30,000 to $50,000 annually. These figures are approximate. 1 out of about 15,000 IBOs reach the level of diamond where you earn about $147,000 annually.

But 1 out of 125 people in the US are millionaires.

This article is somewhat opinionated. I wonder if the writer have had any connection to Amway. One must remember that anybody can just upload information in Wiki and Google and that some of these are garbage.

1 out of 25 Americans is a millionaire>? Seriously, what are you smoking? Millionaire's are usually CEO's, Business owners and 'highly financed' investors...The 'millionaire' price tag is at the top of the pyramid....and some pyramids hire a HUGE number of people(millions) and never pay over 10 bucks an HR (i.e. Walmart, McDonald's, ....you get the picture). I question your sources...

WEEELLLL JOECOOL!!! Do not even have the courage to use your real name. We can see you forgot what you were taught in school. "Googled Wiki-answers" Boy, there is a scholarly source for information. I bet you also subscribe to "darknight365.vlog" for all your financial investment information. First off according to Spectrem Group’s Market Insights Report 2017. As of 2016 there were a record 10.8 million millionaires. Out of 324,118,787 US Citizens or 3.3% of the population is at or above Millionaire status. That is MUCH, MUCH Higher than your "Wiki-answers 1 of every 125" which is 0.8% or you are off by 2.5% of the truth.

It DID NOT STATE where their wealth came from but YOU SUSPECT it is far fewer. BASED ON WHAT? YOUR RESEARCH? BLOGS, VLOGS and WIKI-ANSWERS are the bathroom walls of the Internet. Any fat, lazy, failure to launch who is eating Cheetos and Ho-Hos in Mommies basement can write anything they want on a Blog, Vlog or WIKI-ANSWERS.

Let's be honest here JOECOOL. Trying to compare how many go platinum out of how many sign up? REALLY!?! Are you that intellectually lazy? That's like saying "A Gym Membership doesn't work. Only 1 out of every 500 people who sign up for a gym membership have ABS so Gyms don't work" Only those who put in the work get the ABS. How about this one jobs don't work. 99% of the people who have jobs die broke and most have to work until the day they die." So Jobs don't work. Only those who spend less than they make, and put in the work to improve themselves and earn more are the ones who make it.

Oh and by the way, you REALLY, REALLY Need to get better material for your research, because according to the FTC required information that is handed out to prospects; a Platinum makes on the low end, an average of $60K and on the high end closer to $100K. And for your sloppy research, a Diamond according to FTC required reporting, a Diamond makes just over $500K on average at the low end and on the high end over $2.5 Million.
Now, are there some that make less than that. Absolutely! They DID NOT Do the Work and DID NOT Build their business correct...therefore, they get a pin, but not the $$$$.

So JOECOOL. Before you make bogus claims and smearing your apparent hate (which I am betting is related to your own failure to continue to try and achieve success), try doing real research and get what those of us who are striving for success in life call "THE REAL FACTS".

Well first you need to learn how to read, the article states that one out of a hundred and twenty five Americans are millionaires,, not one out of 25,, and secondly I believe millionaires are made not created,,, you get out of the business by what you put into the business,, and besides Amway is not about making millionaires,, it's all about helping people succeed and be successful

The article stated 1 out of 125 people are millionaires in the US. Not 1 out of 251

I've tried network marketing (AMWAY many years ago, and another company about ten years ago). I did not become a millionaire - because I am not an entrepreneur.

Comparing Amway (or the network marketing industry) to "1 out of 125 Americans are millionaires" does not really answer the important questions of network marketing.

Those 1 out of 125 - are mostly highly educated (both smart and hard worker) or invested in rental real estate (money to invest and hard worker) over the years.

The draw of network marketing is that you only need the "hard worker" part to make it. You can "open your own business" for less than any traditional business or investing in real estate. And you can do so - without a medical degree or STEM education. Some of the really successful people I met didn't finish high school - and the most successful ones I know (yes, personal friends - not just "saw them on a stage") never went to college.

Owning your own business is not for everyone. The reason so many people fail at network marketing is because so many people try network marketing. These are people who didn't have the money to "try" college or real estate investing. They didn't have the money to "try" a traditional type of business.
After all - out of all the kids who ever picked up a basketball (free to try) - how many made it to the NBA?

The millionaires made in network marketing - are millionaires who made it on their work ethic. There was no favoritism. There was no "you went to the right college". The most FAIR income in the world is commission sales - I believe that, even though I was never good at it.

Network marketing is the most fair opportunity to become a millionaire that still exists today.
