IBO Expenses?

The actual cost to register as an IBO, I believe is in the neighborhood of $50. Many motivational groups such as BWW or WWDB or others, may have different costs because of product samples and/or tools included in the signup process. But aside from the cost of registration, what does it cost an IBO to run a Amway powered business? Many, if not most IBOs probably sign up thinking they will make money right away, only to find out that ongoing costs easily turn small profits into losses. Some of the costs I will display are optional, but often promoted as mandatory. Listed below are monthly costs:

100 PV = $300
KATE (voicemail) = $20
Website fees + $20
Standing Order (Tape/cd subcription) $42
Extra tapes/cds (two per week) $56
Book of the Month $10
Functions/Major functions (averaged out) $125
Monthly Open Meeting $8

These somewhat minimal estimates of monthly expenses add up to $581. Were you informed that a business building IBO would have to spend in the neighborhood of $600a month? Would you have been interested if this were disclosed? I woudn't have joined if this was disclosed to me. These costs are actually lowball estimates if you are a hard core IBO. These estimates would run you about $7000 a year. In five years, you may have spent $35,000 to build a business where you have a fraction of a one percent chance of making any real money. Are these the kinds of probabilities you can live with? Couldn't you find better investments of your time and money?

What could you do with an extra $7,000 a year? What could you do with an $35,000, say 5 years from now? Buy a car in cash? Take a dream vacation? Put a downpayment on a home? The possibilities are almost endless.

The average active IBO earns less than $1,500 a year.

Do the math!

Be above average then!

Hey Lucifer - Aka Scarborough Ambot. Shouldn't you be drawing Circles somewhere or counting the millions you have earned as an IBO?
I have no doubt in my mind that you no more than Zero downline and are earning much less than average as an IBO. I bet you are losing money. Shouldn't you be working at your average bank J.O.B. at 2:06 in the afternoon?

Isn't it interesting how the damway diamonds preached nonstop about how you just need to speak you decision and, 'whala,' there you are!

Hmmmm........did Greg Duncan not get that memo? Couldn't he hav just spoken 'no bankruptcy?'

Anon;

That's what I always wonder about people who spout the 'speak your success in to existence' crap. How in the world could Greg have gone bankrupt? He was the guru of positive speech.

How do they square the crap they spoke with what has occurred in their lives?

I BELIEVE you can make a lot of money through this business, only problem is tool scam, when you know you do not need any tool for the profit to come in then why are you buying any tool?

In amway profit only comes from product flow.
You can buy once a book or cd but to succeed in this business you really dont need to buy a cd every now and then.
Trust me buy these 2 books
Think and Grow Rich
The MAGIC of Thinking BIG
and then you dont need anything at all to do the business.

Also there are many organizations that are doing this tool scam.

in india we have BWW and there is no such thing as tool scam over here.

So if you really want to find the truth about amway and then i would suggest that you do more research.

Just because you got involved in the wrong tree where the uplines are greedy and they want to make profit by selling their own tools to you; that does not mean that amway is being run by greedy people.

Your opinion has to be based on the system rather than on one upline who duped you.

Today I tell you in truth that this business is going to run forever and specially in india people are very ethical and business is very beautiful and no tool scam.

They only get confused by seeing blogs on internet and people like you who have made a -ve opinion.

But after sometime when they see us growing in a ethical manner, guess what everybody comes back and they dont give a damn of what u people are writing.

in india we tell people about the tool scam in america and how people were duped and where the money was going.

We make sure they dont do the same.

also you got involved in wwdb, in india we only have bww because that is doing ethical business and there are no charges for website maintaince and all those things.

amway business is really a profitable business if you get linked with the right organization,
so i want you to say that wwdb is bad but not amway.

you can make a lot money since you know the facts, so go and join bww in usa and then come back with a opinion that what amway really is!

i think i should also let you know that soon i am joining bww in usa and uk although i am here in india.

thats the beauty of the business.

BWW is just like WWDB.

BWW (Britt World Wide) is where WWDB came from, the two organizations work closely together sharing speakers, some functions and motivational tools. In my opinion they are both cult organizations whose aim is to get you in then convince you to spend your money on expensive Amway crap and Motivational tools and functions.
Hell, WWDB and BWW have been in law suites together.

What ever they tell you as a new IBO is not what you will hear after you are in the business a few weeks. They will essentially tell you anything to get you in.

The 100 PV comes from your customers. Cds and voicemail app are definitely not needed. Amway does nickel and dime you but if you think logically you can oversee and decide for yourself what is needed when. My first month I broke even because of gas but the next month was a profit of $500. Theres a lot of hype to keep your eyes full of hope and dreams. In all reality its like every other business you start. Not everyone becomes filthy rich. Im in Amway just to cushion my careers income an because of it we just bought a new nice car! You don't need to spend thousands of dollars on amway to get higher pv. You need to get tons of people under you doing 50 to 150 pv every month. Its a simple, basic, and effective plan. Don't complicate it.
